The still relatively young British brand Unite has made it its mission to produce simple quality components made of 99% aluminum in its home base on the Welsh coast. Thanks to the use of the highest quality CNC milling machines and a wide range of anodized colors, Unite products have enjoyed steadily growing popularity since the company was founded at the end of 2016 by former pro rider Andrew Cooper.
With their oversized pedal body with 113x102 mm contact area and 8 interchangeable pedal pins (per pedal side), the Instinct 1.1 pedals offer excellent grip. The concave shape and cutouts in the center of the pedal body reduce weight without negatively affecting durability. For a long service life without bearing play, the Instinct pedals are each equipped with a deep groove ball bearing and 2 Igus plain bearings. The black steel pedal pins also ensure a long service life. If a component is worn out after many hard kilometers on the trail, Unite can provide all the necessary small parts for pedal service. With 7 available anodized colors, you can choose the pedals to match the color of your bike.
NOTE: Due to the 3-way bearing with 2 Igus plain bearings, the pedals can turn stiffly when new and require a running-in period
